Helping keep playgrounds safe for students

On June 29, 2020 we presented a check to the Children’s Reading Center Charter School in the amount of $1000 dollars to help them purchase mulch that was needed to resurface their playgrounds. These funds were from a mini grant from the Florida Kiwanis Foundation along with donations from our club.
Florida Kiwanis District Division 6 Trustee- Paige Chase-Novak presented the check to Timothy Holland and Jackie England 😊
Monday August 10th at 10 am the mulch will be delivered to the school and we will help unload and install.
Any students that are in need of community service hours for scholarships or other school requirements are welcome to help us. Please call 386-336-8536 for more information.
A special Thank You to Hagan Ace Hardware in East Palatka for helping us with ordering the mulch and delivery!
